Aaron Rose

Aaron Rose was born profoundly deaf and exposed to Cued Speech at 19 months. He began cueing expressively at 2 years old. Tested to be 18 months behind in language at 3 years old, Mr. Rose gained 6 to 7 years of language in a matter of 3 years. When he was 7, he received the cochlear implant and currently utilizes it in every aspect of life. A product of the New Hanover County Schools in Wilmington, North Carolina, Mr. Rose received a degree in Marine Sciences with a concentration in Meteorology from North Carolina State University.
