NCSA 2011 Conference logo March 1, 2011—Bethesda, MD — The National Cued Speech Association announces the postponement of the conference slated for July 2011. Further information about the rescheduling of the conference will be available after the next meeting of the Board of Directors in Chapel Hill. Cued Speech Conference 2011

The 2011 National Cued Speech Conference is designed for professionals providing services to children and adults with hearing loss. This year's theme is "Language, Literacy, and Communication," emphasizing the benefits of Cued Speech for language and literacy development, while addressing the possibilities of visual communication for spoken languages.

Cued Speech allows for immersion in spoken language, critical for language and literacy development.



Volunteers
There are many tasks around making the conference successful including but not limited to recruiting sponsors and exhibitors, presenters, volunteer support staff, accommodations, logistics, technology, media notices, food / beverages, photography, and filming. The NCSA is currently seeking motivated volunteers, if you are interested please email 2011@cuedspeech.org.

Call for Papers
